Should Sheila Carter Find a Way Out on The Bold and the Beautiful?

Nobody stirs the pot on The Bold and the Beautiful like Sheila Carter does. For decades, she’s been haunting the Forresters, their family, and friends while she attempts to carve out a happy life for herself. Her biggest recent crimes were shooting both her daughter-in-law Steffy Forrester Finnegan and her own son Dr. John ‘Finn’ Finnegan.

The Bold and the Beautiful: No Way Out

When Sheila (Kimberlin Brown) shot Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) and Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang), she had to leave the country. Now that she’s been exposed as Finn (Tanner Novlan) and Steffy’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) shooter, and the woman who chased Dr. Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda) in her car, nearly causing her death, Sheila’s going to have to pay for her crimes. Soap Hub asked B&B fans if they think that Sheila should be let loose or imprisoned!

B&B: Woman in Prison

The majority of you, nearly 72%, say that you want to see Sheila behind bars, but you also feel that that won’t mean we won’t see her any longer. As we saw recently, people love visiting Sheila in jail! Both Li and Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) dropped by the jail where Sheila was being held, and they told her off in no uncertain terms. We all know from watching soaps that being imprisoned doesn’t mean the end of some’s storyline or screen-time.

The Bold and the Beautiful Drama

Some of you, about 15%, say that the B&B writers should find a way to have her stay out of jail. Sure, she looks great in orange jumpsuits, but wouldn’t it be more fun to see Sheila wearing a Forrester original, glaring at her foes from across the room at the next gala? If Sheila gets the right lawyer and/or has something that the Forresters want, she might be able to remain free.

Oh, Sheila!

The rest of you, about 13%, say that you’d like to see Sheila stay out of jail, but she definitely has to pay for her crimes. We’re not just talking community service (though her crimes hardly qualify for any kind of probation — nor will Sheila’s record make her sympathetic to a judge). Sheila’s going to have to pay emotionally for her evil deeds. The best way to punish her, outside of jail, would be not to let her see Finn or her grandson Hayes.
