The Bold and the Beautiful’s Brooke Logan Forrester and Taylor Hayes hardly ever agree about anything. And one of their recent disagreements proved to be quite costly to Taylor and her loved ones. We’re talking, of course, about Sheila Carter.
The Bold and the Beautiful Polling
When Sheila (Kimberlin Brown) first returned to the show, most everyone was on guard — especially Brooke and Taylor’s (Krista Allen) daughter, Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood).
But when Taylor returned to Los Angeles, she gave Sheila the benefit of the doubt. Now that everyone’s been reminded of just how deadly Sheila can be (RIP Finn!), should Brooke point out to Taylor what a colossal mistake she made? Soap Hub posed this question to B&B fans.
B&B: Second Opinion
The majority of you, 45%, believe that Taylor needs to receive a good “I told you so,” but Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) shouldn’t be the one to do it. Taylor must know on some level that she shouldn’t let Sheila anywhere near her family but she made the mistake of allowing her to visit on Christmas Eve. The bottom line is that everyone should have hired personal security once Sheila re-appeared.
The Bold and the Beautiful: ‘I Told You So’
Many of you, about 30%, say that heck, yes, Brooke should tell Taylor “I told you so.” Who better than Brooke and Taylor to know how deadly Sheila can be? Sheila always blames everyone around her for her actions. Sheila shot Taylor, nearly killing her, and shot Brooke, wounding her back in 2002.
It’s one thing for Taylor to show compassion for Sheila but it’s another to let Sheila endanger her family — which is exactly what ended up happening. Taylor should have been more suspicious of Sheila from the beginning.
B&B: None of Your Beeswax
The rest of you, 25%, say that Taylor shouldn’t be blamed because she’s a trusting person. It’s not wrong to want to believe that people can change. Sure, Taylor and everyone else should have taken steps to protect themselves with Sheila but the world-renowned psychiatrist is not to be blamed for wanting to believe that there’s good in all of us.
