Can Bill Spencer And Ridge’s Friendship Go The Distance on B&B?

It’s strange enough seeing Brooke and Taylor’s newfound friendship on The Bold and the Beautiful, but now we have to marvel at Bill Spencer and Ridge being friends.

It certainly feels like the bizarro world on B&B of late since Bill (Don Diamont) and Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) put their differences aside for a common cause — bringing down crazy Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown). It was shocking to see that they were working together but not shocking to see them still claiming to hate one another. We can tell that is not true, so can this newfound friendship last?

Bill and Ridge only became friends due to a mutual enemy, so 29% of you believe they need another mutual enemy in order to stay friends. Maybe they will decide they can’t stand Deacon (Sean Kanan) after all, despite him helping them nab Sheila. If Deacon starts hanging around Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) again, that is certainly a possibility. When Bill and Ridge have something they want to achieve together, they can easily be the best of pals. Otherwise, they can’t.

Not A Chance For A ‘Rill’ Friendship

Both Bill and Ridge were able to put their differences aside for one reason and one reason only — their need to bring Sheila to justice. Now that they accomplished that, there is no need for them to be friends, and they frankly could not be, say 34% of you. There is too much water under the bridge with these men. Bill once threw Ridge out of a helicopter, and that is not something that can easily be forgotten. Bill and Ridge are meant to be enemies and need to stay that way.

Brooke and Taylor (Krista Allen) seem destined to go into their golden years as BFFs, and 37% of you think Bill and Ridge are destined for the same. B&B has struck gold with these unusual friendships as former enemies have found they have more in common than they ever realized.
