Is It Time for Zoe to Return on The Bold and the Beautiful?

Recently, Grace Buckingham informed Carter Walton that her daughter Zoe Buckingham was still in love with him even though she was living over in Europe. It’s not uncommon for characters who are referred to on-camera to soon find their way back to The Bold and the Beautiful canvas.

The Bold and the Beautiful Zoe Is Missed

Is it time for Zoe Buckingham to return? Her original portrayer Kiara Barnes is a little busy these days doing the second season of Fantasy Island on Fox. However, that doesn’t mean the character can’t come back either played by Barnes or a new actress. Soap Hub asked B&B fans if it was time for Zoe to come back to Los Angeles.

Come Home, Zoe

Nearly 62% of you say that yes, it’s time for Zoe to come home. Soaps are about triangles, sure, but daytime drama has also been known to have its share of quadrangles. In The Bold and the Beautiful’s first few years, there was the Thorne/Caroline/Ridge/Brooke storyline. Years later, Ridge/Brooke/Nick/Taylor were a memorable foursome.

The Bold and the Beautiful Pause Button

Many of you, about 25%, say that while you want to see Zoe return you believe that it’s too early. Let Paris (Diamond White) solidify a few more relationships before Zoe returns to throw a wrench into things. What if Zoe were to return to Los Angeles pregnant with Carter’s (Lawrence Saint-Victor) child? (An off-camera farewell romp could easily be written into the show.) Zoe’s return will have the most impact if her presence affects the highest number of people possible.

Chemistry Counts

The rest of you, about 13%, are all for Zoe’s return. However, you definitely want Kiara Barnes to reprise the role. While her primetime gig is keeping her busy, there’s no reason why Barnes couldn’t pop back up on The Bold and the Beautiful during Fantasy Island’s production hiatus.
