The Bold and the Beautiful’s Steffy Forrester used to be a total wild child; a provocative willful brat who went after whatever and whomever she wanted with no regard for the consequences. However, over the years the character has undergone a major metamorphosis and become the show’s wise voice of reason.
The Bold and the Beautiful: Steffy Forrester Past
Young Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) toyed with Bill Spencer (Don Diamont), while he was married to Katie (Heather Tom). Then she moved on to his son, Liam (Scott Clifton), in spite of his commitment to Hope. Along the way, she married Liam and his brother, Wyatt (Darin Brooks), and had a one-night fling with Bill. She was on a merry-go-round of destruction, the poster girl for all that’s not fair in love and war.
B&B: The Turnaround
But, something changed in Steffy after she gave birth to her daughter, Kelly. She let Liam go, realizing he was meant to be with Hope (Annika Noelle). In the process, she took a giant step toward maturity, devoting herself to being a good mother and running Forrester Creations. The new and improved Steffy suddenly developed a conscience and a sense of right and wrong. She became a bad girl turned heroine and a woman with scruples, who was ready for true love when Finn (Tanner Novlan) entered her life.
Steffy Forrester: Advice Giver
Now, older, shrewder, and more sensible, Steffy’s become B&B’s wise voice of reason. She’s the one who’s called out Thomas (Matthew Atkinson) on his shenanigans time and time again. She’s the one who sensed and confronted Hope about her feelings for her brother. And, when Liam came to her after seeing Hope kiss Thomas and impulsively kissed her – twice, Steffy set him straight. She told him in no uncertain terms that she is a happily married woman.
Then the show’s smart savvy Steffy gave Liam some sage advice: move through the pain he’s feeling and forgive Hope as she’s forgiven his transgressions ample times. Steffy told Liam to go back to his wife and make things work. It’s the Steffy B&B viewers have come to respect and admire over the years, and the soap’s ultimate voice of reason.
