The Bold and the Beautiful is feeling a little stagnant right now. It’s a wash, rinse, repeat of Bridge/Tridge romance, broken record Forrester children, and troubled Thomas Forrester stirring the pot. We need some fresh plots and think that we’ve got the answer to spice things up. Here are three stories we would like to see play out.
There is no doubt that Liam Spencer’s (Scott Clifton) jealousy over Hope Logan Spencer (Annika Noelle) spending time with Thomas (Matthew Atkinson) will soon take hold. And, once it does, he’ll go too far like he always does. What if Liam goes to visit Hope at the office and catches her in Thomas’s arms? To him, it will look like a salacious embrace, but the reality is, it’s nothing but innocent.
That won’t stop Liam from going to the Bikini Bar to slam back a few drinks to ease his pain. While there he runs into Bridget Logan (Ashley Jones) and the two cheer to a few beers. One thing leads to another and he cheats on Hope with her own sister!
With Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) convinced Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) is now the woman for him, Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) is single and won’t waste time trying to mingle. It’s off to Deacon Sharpe’s (Sean Kanan) to shed a few tears. Unfortunately, when she opens the door it’s not Deacon she finds, it’s Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown)!
The expectation would be for Sheila to kill, kidnap, or otherwise make Brooke disappear but what if we did something more fun? What if Sheila has some serious dirt on Brooke and blackmails her into silence? Just imagine the seemingly squeaky-clean Logan getting mixed up in that mess. It would be delicious!
Rena Sofer may have exited stage left, but that doesn’t mean we should lose Quinn Fuller Shouldn’t-Be Forrester too! Recast the role and have her go back to her down-and-dirty ways by taking Eric to court for half his money!
Think of the drama it would cause if Quinn wins half his fortune, his stake in the company, and maybe even the house! It would make for some fun rage — watching as Quinn rips Eric’s world apart while trying to balance a romance with his best friend, Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor).
