Carter is no stranger to heartbreak, but his latest romantic entanglement with Hope has Bold and the Beautiful fans scratching their heads. The couple had barely found their footing when the end to their Forrester Creations coup flipped their world upside down. Hope was swiftly shown the door, while Carter was given a golden ticket to stay on as COO and legal counsel. Carter then found himself begging Hope to stay by his side despite the fallout. But why? What is he truly holding onto?

A New Beginning or a Desperate Cling? 

Hope (Annika Noelle) and Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor) don’t have a deep, long-standing love story. They don’t have children together, nor do they share a history that would make Carter’s determination to keep Hope seem logical. Yet, here he is, refusing to let go.
