In this Genoa City timeline, Diane Abbott (Susan Walters) has been gone for a minute. Jack (Peter Bergman) and Kyle (Michael Mealor) have been worried about her. And the theories about her disappearance have ranged from something nefarious to basically an attention grab. She has been furious with Jack ever since Victor (Eric Braeden) kidnapped him, and he slept with Stacy Haiduk’s Patty (under the influence). But she had just started to come around when she went missing.
Next week’s teasers suggest her reentry into Genoa City will be rocky. While she was gone, there was absolutely no contact, and Jack may especially wonder if she did this to punish him. But there’s a good chance that something is up, because on Tuesday, Diane meets Patty’s partner-in-crime. That doesn’t sound like Diane orchestrated her own disappearance, does it?
Meanwhile, the town is about to get even more intense than usual. We’re finally about to get a conversation between Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott, who talks about her character’s latest health crisis) and Lily (Christel Khalil). Nikki knows that Lily made a deal with Victor to get Chancellor back. And so she will give Lily the third degree, presumably about this development.
Elsewhere, Devon (Bryton James) must learn of Cane’s new position as CEO of Chancellor. As a result, look for Devon to give Cane (Billy Flynn) a warning shot. Billy (Jason Thompson) predicted Devon wouldn’t love Cane being involved in their corporate lives again.
Phyllis (Michelle Stafford), who owns what’s left of Arabesque, will hit Cane where it hurts one day. And then lucks into valuable intel the next. It seems like her life is looking up all of a sudden. Finally, one more showdown features Sienna (Tamara Braun) and Audra (Zuleyka Silver). The teaser reveals that Sienna strikes back against the woman she knew and despised in Los Angeles. Does that mean Audra does something that requires such a heated response?
