When it comes to The Bold and the Beautiful, every fan has their own opinion – and Soap Hub is no different. For five days, we sat and watched the good, the bad, and everything in between, and now we offer you a handy review, and a cheeky critique, of B&B’s week that was.
Boy, this past week’s Bold and the Beautiful was an exhausting exercise in treading water. The one big development? Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) proposed to Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) — something that was discussed ad nauseam up to the moment that he did it, and then for some time afterward.
The only other plot point — unless you count Bobby from Dallas [Patrick Duffy] and Matlock’s daughter [Linda Purl] showing up to recap the plot for two days straight, which I do not — was Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and Hope (Annika Noelle) mistaking Forrester Creations for a hallway at Beverly Hills High (zip code 90210, natch!). “Do you think my brother’s ‘hot’? Well, do you?” are questions that a boss most decidedly should not be asking her employee on company time.
B&B’s singular saving grace is without doubt the dynamic duo that is Diamont and Thorsten Kaye [Ridge Forrester]. CBS would be wise to give this two a buddy cop show.
No Truer Words: “For a criminal mastermind, Sheila’s kinda gullible.” Does anybody else remember the time that James Warwick (Ian Buchanan) courted, and proposed to her all in an effort to wed her and then have her declared insane so he could have full custody of the daughter they shared?
