Who’s coming and who’s going from the casts of The Bold and the Beautiful (BB), Days of our Lives (DAYS), General Hospital (GH), and The Young and the Restless (YR)?

Soap Opera Casting For The Week of September 19, 2022

Here’s a list of the top exit and entrance news from all four daytime dramas. Find out if any of your favorite performers from yesteryear are returning to the shows you follow, or if any new actors or actresses have been cast in contract, recurring, or day-player roles.

Days of our Lives

Kevin Spirtas returns to Days of our Lives as Craig Wesley on Tuesday, September 20. Nancy Wesley’s (Patrika Darbo) ex-husband is slated to play a pivotal role on the soap opera in Abigail Deveraux DiMera’s (Marci Miller) murder investigation.

Chandler Massey continues his latest run as Will Horton. He’ll share scenes with Billy Flynn’s Chad DiMera and Zach Tinker’s Sonny Kiriakis on Monday, September 19.

The Young and the Restless

Sean Kanan is taking his Bold and the Beautiful alter ego, Deacon Sharpe, on the road to The Young and the Restless. Look for Deacon to share scenes with his ex-wife, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott), on Tuesday, September 20, and Wednesday, September 21.

Zuleyka Silver debuts on the soap opera as Audra Charles on Friday, September 23. The character is a high-powered businesswoman, who’ll meets with one of Genoa City’s high-powered businessmen.

The Bold and the Beautiful

Darin Brooks is set to pop back in as Wyatt Spencer on The Bold and the Beautiful. Bill Spencer’s (Don Diamont) son and Liam Spencer’s brother (Scott Clifton) will have some family scenes on Thursday, September 22.

General Hospital

Linda Purl has been playing Peyton, a woman from Carly’s (Laura Wright) past. The actress has a daytime past, having appeared as Doreen on soap operas Secret Storm (1973-1974) and Claire on Port Charles (2000). Meanwhile, her primetime credits include Happy Days, Matlock, Homeland, and The Office.

Michael Flynn turns up as George on Monday, September 19, a character who’ll interact with Maurice Benard’s Sonny Corinthos. Flynn’s credits include the recurring role of General Calussar on The CW series The Outpost.

B&B is one of four soap operas currently on the air. The other three daytime dramas include Days of our Lives (DOOL), General Hospital (GH), and The Young and the Restless (YR). The Bold and the Beautiful (BB) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
