Who’s coming and who’s going from the soap opera casts of The Bold and the Beautiful (BB), Days of our Lives (DAYS), General Hospital (GH), and The Young and the Restless (YR)?

Soap Opera Casting For The Week Of April 25, 2022

Here’s a list of the top exit and entrance news from all four daytime dramas. Find out if any of your favorite performers from yesteryear are returning to the shows you follow, or if any new actors or actresses have been cast in contract, recurring, or day player roles.

The Young and the Restless

A new Summer will be making a spring debut in Genoa City. Allison Lanier is taking over the role of Kyle’s (Michael Mealor) wife, and Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) and Nick’s (Joshua Morrow) daughter. The actress replaces Hunter King, who first joined the CBS soap back in 2012. Lanier’s credits include the role of Annabelle on the Amazon series Red Oaks.

Kellen Enriquez reprises his role as Harrison Locke, this week. The tyke will return home with his TV dad, Michael Mealor, who portrays Kyle Abbott.

General Hospital

Stephanie Erb begins her fill-in stint as Alexis Davis on General Hospital, this week. The actress is taking over for Nancy Lee Grahn, who’s recovering from back surgery. Erb’s credits include a recurring role of Luellen on True Blood. She’s also appeared on The Young and the Restless as Dr. Janice Mead and on Port Charles as Camille Owens.

Josh Coxx wrapped up his stint on the soap opera as Brendon Byrne. The character met his demise during an altercation with Inga Cadranel’s Harmony Miller.

Days of our Lives

Days of our Lives welcomes back Brock Kelly for another run as Evan Frears on the soap opera. He’ll make his debut on Thursday, April 28 in scenes with Lindsay Arnold’s possessed Allie Horton. Kelly made his last appearance on the show in March of 2021.

The Bold and the Beautiful

The Bold and the Beautiful has recast Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and Liam Spencer’s (Scott Clifton) daughter. Sophia Paras McKinlay has taken over the role of Kelly Spencer, which was previously portrayed by twins Avalon and Collette Gray.

Dan Martin pops back in as Deputy Chief Baker on Monday, April 25, while Ashley Jones gets more airtime as Dr. Bridget Forrester on Tuesday, April 26, Wednesday, April 27, and Friday, April 29.
