After reprising his role of Harris Michaels on Beyond Salem: Chapter 2, Steve Burton will be bringing the character back to Days of our Lives in early 2023. The actor originally played Harris on the soap opera back in 1988. Burton is also known for his roles as Jason Morgan on General Hospital and Dylan McAvoy on The Young and the Restless.
Tina Huang continues to get more airtime as Melinda Trask. The Salem DA will be interacting with the incarcerated Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens).
Mike Manning is also back as the late Charlie Dale. The character will give more diabolical advice to his mom, Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun).
After nine long years, Michael Damian is headed back to The Young and the Restless. Look for rock star Danny Romalotti to air in several episodes next month. Damian, who originally played Danny from 1981 to 1998, made his last appearance on the soap opera in 2013 when he attended Katherine Chancellor’s (Jeanne Cooper) memorial.
Chelsea Lawson’s (Melissa Claire Egan) new therapist, Dr. Malone, is being played by Anna Khaj. The actress has an array of credits, including the primetime series The Walking Dead: World Beyond, Silicon Valley, and Stitchers.
Joshua Benard returns to General Hospital as Adam, a Port Charles University student and classmate of Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy), Cameron Webber (William Lipton), and Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali). He’s the real-life son of Maurice Benard, who plays Sonny Corinthos on the soap opera.
Rafael Cabrera is playing Gavin. The character is an associate of the shady Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy).
Mike Peebler is portraying Agent Whitten. He’s the law official in charge of the investigation into Lucy Coe’s (Lynn Herring) shooting and disappearance.
Henry Joseph Samiri is back as The Bold and the Beautiful’s young Douglas Forrester. The child will share pivotal scenes with his TV dad, Matthew Atkinson, who plays Thomas, on Monday, November 14. Meanwhile, Samiri continues to have a successful career outside of the CBS soap opera. He’s set as a series star in The Watchful Eye, debuting on Freeform on Monday, January 30.
B&B is one of four soap operas currently on the air. The other three daytime dramas include Days of our Lives (DOOL), General Hospital (GH), and The Young and the Restless (YR). The Bold and the Beautiful (BB) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
