Who’s coming and who’s going from the soap opera casts of The Bold and the Beautiful, Days of our Lives, General Hospital, and The Young and the Restless?
Here’s a list of the top exit and entrance news from all four daytime dramas. Find out if any of your favorite performers from yesteryear are returning to the shows you follow, or if any new actors or actresses have been cast in contract, recurring, or day-player roles.
A Days of our Lives supercouple will be saying goodbye to one of their children. Martha Madison, who has played John (Drake Hogestyn) and Marlena Black’s (Deidre Hall) daughter since 2004, shot her last scenes this past spring. The actress took to Twitter on the 19th anniversary of her Salem debut as Belle Black, August 10, to say goodbye to fans. “Feels like yesterday and a million lifetimes ago all at the same time,” she posted. “Thank you to all the fans who supported me on my bumpy journey through Salem. It was a wild ride.” There’s no word on her official last airdate at this time.
Finley Rose Slater pops back in on the soap opera as Rachel Black on Wednesday, August 16. The little girl will share scenes with her TV mom, Stacy Haiduk, who plays Kristen DiMera.
Kim Coles wrapped up her story arc as twisted nurse Whitley King. The actress began playing the role on May 31.
Lily Anne Harrison joins the General Hospital cast as Andrea Gates. The young woman appears as a potential surrogate candidate for Molly Lansing-Davis (Brooke Anne Smith) and TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) and meets with the couple this week. The actress has a behind-the-scenes connection to the soap opera. She’s the real-life daughter of Gregory Harrison, who plays Gregory Chase.
Walt Willey who appeared as his former All My Children alter ego, Jackson Montgomery, in July, will be reprising the role for another GH story arc. the soap. Look for the vet to return later this month.
Mykel Shannon Jenkins is playing Roy, Curtis Ashford’s (Donnell Turner) physical therapist. Jenkins, who won the first season of I Wanna Be A Soap Star in 2024, already has a pair of soap credits. He’s played a pair of daytime cops – Bryon Murphy on GH and Charlie Baker on The Bold and the Beautiful.
Eric Forrester’s (John McCook) significant other is set to reappear on The Bold and the Beautiful. Jennifer Gareis pops in as Donna Logan on Thursday, August 17, and Friday, August 18.
On the kid front, Sophia Paras McKinlay is back on the soap opera as Kelly Spencer, Steffy Finnegan’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and Liam Spencer’s (Scott Clifton) daughter, and Jordyn Lynn Ariza plays Beth Spencer, Hope (Annika Noelle) and Liam Spencer’s daughter, on Thursday, August 17 and Friday, August 18.
