The passing of Stephanie Forrester on The Bold and the Beautiful could have meant the end of her husband Eric’s love life. Instead, enter jewelry designer Quinn Fuller, played by Emmy-winner Rena Sofer, who, like Stephanie, is a strong woman who captured Eric’s heart.
Shortly after Quinn’s arrival, viewers learned that Quinn wasn’t just Wyatt’s mother, but also the ex-lover of Bill Spencer — tying both mother and son to existing characters on the BB canvas. Quinn was brought into the Forrester fold by Hope Logan to design some jewelry to accompany designs.
Sorry, Charlie
Viewers quickly saw Quinn as a woman who’d stop at nothing to get what she wanted. Threatening Charlie, who had evidence of Wyatt committing a crime? No problem. Locking Liam in an elevator? Easy. Quinn even threatened to drop Aly over a railing to keep her quiet.
Sharpe Idea
Quinn hooked up with Bill and later, Hope’s dad, Deacon. She asked Deacon to help make Hope and Wyatt a couple. Not to be trifled with, Quinn threatened to stab Liam, who also wanted Hope, with his sword necklace. Fortunately, Wyatt saved his half-brother.
Quinn followed Liam and Hope to Paris. Liam was on his way to propose to Hope, but he stopped to dive into the Seine to rescue Ivy after Quinn pushed her into the French river! Later, Charlie exposed Quinn for her machinations. Ivy threatened her attacker with her own jewelry-making equipment.
Taking A Fall
After an argument with Quinn, a pregnant Hope fell down some stairs and lost her baby. Wyatt was furious with his mother for her indirect role in his child’s death. Quinn never saw this or any of her other actions as “wrong” – she was simply doing what’s in the best interests of her son. She married Deacon despite Hope urging her dad not to do it.
The Way We Were
Next on The Bold and the Beautiful, Quinn manipulated Liam, who was suffering from memory loss, into thinking that they were a couple named (wait for it) “Adam and Eve.” Quinn entertained killing Liam because his memory might return, but she opted to push Deacon off a cliff instead. Quinn managed to walk free after Liam’s memory returned. Next, she set her sights on Eric, a wealthy widower — and married him!
Quinn grew unreasonably jealous of Katie after sensing some closeness between her husband and the youngest Logan sister. Ridge flirted with Quinn and she couldn’t tell whether his feelings were genuine or whether he wanted to break up her and his dad. Quinn and Eric remained intact, but Brooke spying Ridge giving Quinn a “goodbye” kiss put the kibosh on their remarriage.
Sheila V. Quinn Fuller
Sheila, Eric’s former wife, returned to The Bold and the Beautiful and got into one physical altercation with Quinn after another. Quinn had another problem to deal with upon finding out Wyatt and Katie were together, but she promised Eric she wouldn’t revert to her past over-the-top ways.
Picture Imperfect
Sheila wasn’t Quinn’s only opponent. She and Pam, Stephanie’s sister, fought over the late matriarch’s portrait, damaging it in the process. Quinn found another threat to her marriage in another ex of Eric’s, Donna, who had moved back to Los Angeles.
Flo, She Don’t Know
Quinn reconnected with her old pal, Shauna Fulton, whose daughter Flo used to date Wyatt. Quinn did her best to pull Sally and Wyatt apart so that Flo and Wyatt could be together.
Quinn wasn’t on the B&B canvas all that long, considering the show is over three decades old. But she’s established herself clearly as a force to be reckoned with and as someone who doesn’t suffer fools gladly.
Ultimately, she and Eric parted ways after he suffered ED, and she had a sanctioned affair with Carter. Eric ended up falling in love with Donna Logan, and Quinn left town.
