The last time we saw Philip Kiriakis on Days of Our Lives, John-Paul Lavoisier was playing the role and the character remained in Salem briefly before leaving town again. Now, an Instagram post has fans wondering if Jay Kenneth Johnson, the original teen Philip, will be returning to the role.
A Jay Kenneth Johnson Comeback?
According to Soaps.com, Lauren Koslow had posted a snap of herself and Johnson, saying the actor was with her for an interview and they were catching up. The snap was quickly removed, but a fan got a screenshot and tweeted it, sparking a rumor that the actor is returning to the soap.
With the pic quickly being taken down, that adds fuel to the rumor as that often means the soap doesn’t want the news out there.

Jay Kenneth Johnson played Philip from 1999-2002 and again from 2007-2011. Kyle Brandt played the role in between Johnson’s stints.
