The B&B recap for Tuesday, January 10, 2023, features a major failure on the part of the judiciary system and a lovely time had by former rivals.

B&B Recap Highlights

In this episode, Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) is declared a free woman, while Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) and Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) engage in a war of compliments — no, seriously. On both counts. Now, let’s take a deeper look into what went on.

The Bold and the Beautiful Recap: Can I Get A Witness?

It’s decision time. With one of soapdom’s most unscrupulous judges waiting for their answers, John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) and Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) internally wrestle with whether or not to speak out against Sheila.

Finn eventually chooses to keep mum — much to his visible displeasure — and Steffy does likewise, but not before taking Sheila to task for being an absolutely despicable human being. To say that Judge what’s-his-last-name isn’t pleased by the turn of events is an understatement.

Bold and Beautiful Recap: Getting Social

At Forrester Creations, Brooke treats Taylor to some takeout, and afterward, the pair decide to play dress up under the guise of a fitting session. Much revelry is had by the duo, so much so that Brooke suggests they soon gather at her place for junk food, soda, big tubs of popcorn, and the marathoning of a few streaming series. Taylor gleefully tells her good pal that she’s on.

Oh, isn’t it just wonderful that the two of them have become so close? And to think that it could have always been this way. Rather than spending their days, nights, and a decade or two fighting over a man, they could have been acting like sisters from different misters.

But all that animosity was in the before times, and this is a new dawn, a new day, and they’re both feeling fine. In fact, each woman is looking forward to the future. But what do those futures look like? Might Brooke pick back up where she left off with Bill Spencer (Don Diamont)? Probably not.

Believe it or not, and Stephanie Forrester (Susan Flannery) certainly wouldn’t believe it, Brooke doesn’t mind being without a man. No, all she really needs is her family close.

B&B Recap: Status Change

Despite refusing to provide testimony against Sheila, Finn and Steffy are certain that the villainess will still face beaucoup jail time. After all, she escaped from county lockup.

But wait! Thanks to besotted Mike Guthrie (Ken Hanes), the story being bandied about is that he FORCED Sheila to go on the run. It was completely against her will, as she would have been more than happy to while away her time behind bars.

With that statement read out, the judge released Sheila. She was a free woman! Cue Steffy’s indignant glare. Cue Sheila’s patented “I’ve won” stare. Cue music worthy of Hitchcock’s Psycho.
