Soap Hub Insider Fireside Chat Recap: Soap Veteran Vincent Irizarry

Soap Hub Insiders, here is the fireside recap video for the live chat that took place on Wednesday, September 9th, at 6pm est/3pm pst with a soap veteran whose credits included starring on seven different soap operas. Vincent Irizarry joined us for an hour of conversation and reflections. The Daytime Emmy-winner shared insight into his career, and memories of his runs on Guiding Light, All My Children, and other shows!

Irizarry, as veteran GL fans recall, landed the role of Lujack but it was just supposed to last a few days. The show feel in love with his portrayal of the leader of the Galahads gang and tweaked his backstory to reveal that he was the long lost son of Alexandra Spaulding (played by the late, great Beverlee McKinsey).

During the chat Irizarry revealed that he’d recently been interviewed for a book about the late McKinsey. (Soap Hub will bring you details on that tome as they become available!)
