Lauralee Bell recently posted a video of a photoshoot, but it’s not one from just any session. Alas, The Young and the Restless star won’t be having her photo taken again at this particular locale in the future.

Lauralee Bell Says Goodbye To Family Home

“A sneak peek of a bittersweet last photo session today at my parents’ house,” Bell shared on Instagram of a shoot with photographer Elaine Lee. “We had many great memories in this pool and it was nice to be in it one last time. ❤️ Thanks for a great day @elaineleephotography , Ricky, Josh & Nadine! Photos to come! 📸.”

The Bell property was sold earlier this year, as reported in various publications that focus on the real estate market. The Bell family first moved into the estate in 1986 when the clan relocated from their home in Chicago to the Los Angeles area. The reason for the move? Bill Bell, Sr., was able to more closely oversee the daily production of YR. Lauralee continued her role as Cricket (now Christine).

But there was much more! The family was also starting up The Bold and the Beautiful, the half-hour soap that debuted on March 23, 1987. As recounted in Bell’s biography, The Young and the Restless Life of William J. Bell, the Bell family hosted holiday parties back in the day and the Bell home also served as exteriors for the Forrester mansion. In fact, they’re still used today in episodes.

“Great memories of all of you there…😊♥️” John McCook (Eric) posted. In 1988, BB shot at the Bell mansion in a dramatic storyline in which an inebriated Thorne (then- Clayton Norcross) shot Ridge (then Ronn Moss) in the head after finding out that Ridge had crawled into bed with Thorne’s then-wife Caroline (Joanna Johnson) as a “prank.”

Stephanie (Susan Flannery) witnessed the shooting and bolted down the mansion stairs and headed to the front door (in scenes shot in the studio). After she burst out the door, scenes shot at the real mansion on remote were edited in, matching perfectly. The Young and the Restless airs weekdays on CBS. Check local listings for air times.
