Thanks to weeks of The Young and the Restless reruns, fans got a great trip down memory lane – or maybe it was your introduction – to the Christine versus Phyllis rivalry.

Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) broke up Christine’s (Lauralee Bell) marriage to Danny (Michael Damian) by claiming he’d father her son, Daniel. Then, when the truth came out and Danny won custody of the boy he loved, Phyllis blamed Christine for keeping the pair apart.
She expressed her displeasure with Christine continuing to walk the earth by running down her fiancé, Paul (Doug Davidson), and leaving a dead sea animal in their honeymoon bed. Christine mostly… snarked back. Would fans like to see this rivalry reheated? The word from almost 4,000 fans:

Love Wins
No thanks, 54% of you dismiss, we have no interest in watching two women demean themselves by cat-fighting for our alleged entertainment. You would much rather the show focus on the ladies’ love lives. Christine has Paul. There’s a marriage we see very little of. And Phyllis is back with Nick (Joshua Morrow). Summer (Hunter King) thinks it’s a crappy idea. But what does she know? She’s only had to live through her parents’ umpteenth break-ups and make-ups her entire life.
Small Doses of Phyllis V. Christine
Maybe a little flare-up now and then, 32% suggest. It shouldn’t be the main story, but it can be part of the main story. And they most definitely should never, ever become friends, like some other soap-opera enemies. (Even Jack and Victor are pleasant these days! No!)
Bring It On
Only 14% are excited by the possibility of endless face-offs. Let them go at each other until they draw blood, and we can sit back and watch. No, this is nothing like the last days of Rome at all.
