In July, Days of our Lives star James Reynolds sat down with Soap Hub fans for an intimate fireside chat via Zoom. Reynolds chatted about his career and how, after doing a series of guest spots on movies and shows like The Magic of Lassie and The Incredible Hulk, he was offered the role of lawman Abe Carver on Days of Our Lives.
The Emmy-winning actor reflected on the ups and downs of life (and death) in Salem including how his storyline picked up after the show cast Renee Jones as his wife, Lexie, and how Abe came back from the dead along with half of Salem, it seemed, in 2004.
Reynolds also talked about his expanded role on the show in more recent years and the story of Theo’s (Kyler Pettis) accidental shooting by JJ (Casey Moss) and the timeliness of that tale
