Dawson joined ATWT in the fall of 1999 in what was supposed to be a short-term role. Upon seeing Dawson’s performance as the entertaining Henry, the show’s scribes expanded his role. He’s received three Daytime Emmy nominations in the category of Outstanding Supporting Actor and he remained a cast member of the show until its finale in September 2010.
In addition to his role on ATWT, Dawson has also appeared on General Hospital. In 2016, he played the role of Huxley Lynch, a British man who got mixed up with Ava (Maura West); a year later, he was drawn into the drama that brought Jason (Steve Burton) back to Port Charles.
Dawson will talk about the upcoming reunion of the ATWT cast. The actors from the beloved CBS series are gathering on The Locher Room on Wednesday, October 28th for a benefit reading of the last episode. Click here for how you can view the ATWT reunion.
Dawson has also appeared in Men in Black III, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, Homeland, NCIS, NCIS:LA, Castle, and The Good Wife. Dawson the Founding Artistic Director of Katonah Classic Stage (KCS), a professional, nonprofit theatre in Katonah, NY. The ATWT reunion will serve as a benefit for KCS.
Each month we bring you an exclusive live fireside chat with a soap star. It’s an opportunity to get up close and personal with the actor to learn more about their lives outside of soaps, the projects they have, and life in general. To attend this event, you have to be a Soap Hub Insider member.
