The Days of our Lives recap for Friday, October 23, 2020, features Jan losing her grip on reality, Philip pushing Xander to the edge, and Clyde giving some odd fatherly advice.

Days of our Lives Recap Highlights

It was getting past midnight but the city’s top cops were still hard at work. Shawn (Brandon Beemer), Eli (Lamon Archey), and Lani (Sal Stowers) updated each other at the station. Rolf was gone, Orpheus was still missing, and a tip showed Eli he was wrong not to search Ben’s room.

Xander Lost A Battle

The lights may be out in Salem, but that didn’t stop fireworks from exploding at the Kiriakis mansion. Xander (Paul Telfer) lost his cool when he found Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) sitting by the fire with Philip (Jay Kenneth Johnson).

Sarah did not take the intrusion well and laid into her beau. She’s allowed to have friends, isn’t she? Xander became loud, Philip became louder, and Sarah sent him up to bed while she opted to continue hanging around with his cousin.

Jan’s True Intentions Exposed

Speaking of intrusions, Belle (Martha Madison) told Jan (Heather Lindell) to get out of her house. Belle did not budge, though. She has a gift for Claire (Isabel Durant), a giant healing stone.

Belle stood her ground and demanded Jan leave and take her rock with her. In fact, she made it clear Jan was to steer clear of the entire family. The ladies got into it and Jan got so heated she was seconds away from bashing Belle with the rock. Thankfully, Shawn came home just in time. Jan left regretting not killing Belle when she had the chance.

Claire To The Rescue

As for Claire, she was playing hero for Charlie (Mike C. Manning). He was locked in the office with no way to escape. The automatic doors had him trapped. Luckily, Claire was still up and more than happy to stop by and lend him a hand.

Lean On Me, Son

Over at the inn, Clyde (James Read) talked Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) down. He did not want his son up on charges. Revenge was only sweet for a minute but the implications would last a lifetime. Ben relented and Clyde promised to check on him in the morning. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
