Who Did This Too-Cool Teenage Rocker Grow Up To Play On Soaps?

They say a picture is worth a thousand words, but we wonder what good is a picture when you can’t recognize the subject? Above is a snapshot of a future star of soaps, but can you guess who this shade wearing guitarist grew up to be?

Star Of The Soaps

Obviously this young man (now all grown up) is either currently starring in, or is an alum of, one of the four remaining daytime dramas – The Bold and the Beautiful, Days of our Lives, General Hospital, and The Young and the Restless – but that’s probably not enough of a hint.

So try these on for size. He is a founding member of a rock band that produced two Top-10 hits. He has two solo albums to his discography. His film debut came about courtesy of an Italian action/adventure picture called Hearts and Armour. And he voiced a character in the Disney animated film Bolt.

But just who can he be? Is this a photograph of Ronn Moss (ex-Ridge Forrester, BB), Paul Telfer (Xander Kiriakis, DAYS), James Patrick Stuart (Valentin Cassadine, GH), or Joshua Morrow (Nicholas Newman, YR)?

Paul Telfer

Telfer’s first film role was the Heather Graham-starring comedy Miss Conception. And though he has occasionally carried a tune (usually opposite his wife, Broadway star Carmen Cusack) and worked as a voice-over artist, Telfer hasn’t released two CDs full of music and he hasn’t voiced a Disney character. So he isn’t today’s featured star.

James Patrick Stuart

Sure, Stuart has indeed launched his own music-filled CD. And yes, he is a prodigious voice-over artist. However, The Apple Tree is his only musical effort released (so far) and his voice work hasn’t extended to Disney films, though he does lend his voice currently to the Disney animated series Amphibia. But he isn’t the answer to today’s identity query.

Joshua Morrow

And neither is Morrow. He hasn’t worked as a voice-over artist and he didn’t appear in a film produced in Italy. And though he was a founding member of a band, they were classified as soul-pop – rather than rock.

Ronn Moss

Four years before joining the inaugural cast of BB, Moss launched his acting career with the movie Hearts and Armour. But prior to that, he had gained acclaim, thanks to his contributions to Player, the rock band responsible for such hits as Baby Come Back and The Time I’m In It for Love. Among Moss’s other endeavors are his voice-over work for the film Bolt (where he “played” Dr. Forrester) and his dual studio albums.

So, if you guessed that the future star of soaps seen in the image above was Ronn Moss – the originator of the Ridge Forrester role – then you were absolutely correct!
