They say a picture is worth a thousand words, but we wonder what good is a picture when you can’t recognize the subject? Above is a snapshot of a future star of soaps, but can you guess who this perky and posed little darling grew up to be?

Star Of The Soaps

Obviously this young woman (now all grown up) is either currently starring in, or is an alum of, one of the four remaining daytime dramas – The Bold and the Beautiful, Days of our Lives, General Hospital, and The Young and the Restless – but that’s probably not enough of a hint.

So try these on for size. She began her career as a child model and commercial actress. She began appearing on television programs as a background extra. She graduated from The University of North Carolina with a degree in theater. Her first credited role was on an episode of Dawson’s Creek. She is a soap hopper. And she spent several years as a spokesperson for Proactiv Solution.

But just who can she be? Is this a photograph of Schae Harrison (ex-Darla Einstein-Forrester, BB), Chrishell Stause (ex-Jordan Ridgeway, DAYS), Lisa LoCicero (Olivia Falconeri Quartermaine, GH), or Melissa Claire Egan (Chelsea Lawson, YR)?

Shae Harrison

Harrison has two soap roles under her belt – in addition to BB, she appeared on GH as a background nurse – and she spent her early years in the entertainment industry working as a model. But since she never appeared on an episode of Dawson’s Creek, Harrison is automatically out of the running as a potential answer to today’s identity query.

Chrishell Stause

Stause is a former spokesperson for Proactiv Solution and she has appeared in three daytime serials – All My Children (ex-Amanda Dillion Martin), DAYS, and YR (ex-Bethany Bryant). But even though she has a degree in theater, Stause graduated from Murray State University and AMC served as her first exposure to the rigors of television acting. So she isn’t today’s featured star.

Lisa LoCicero

And neither is LoCicero. Her roles on GH, One Life to Live, Loving, and The City prove that she’s a soap hopper but Loving marked her TV debut and she never appeared on Dawson’s Creek.

Melissa Claire Egan

While still a child, Egan began appearing in nationally aired TV commercials and she eventually found herself signed to a contract by the Ford Modeling Agency. During the summer months, Egan found employment as an extra in film and daytime soaps but her career was briefly halted in order for her to attend college.

Upon graduation, Egan booked an episode of Dawson’s Creek which led to subsequent roles in series such as One Tree Hill, Criminal Minds, Men at Work, and Bones as well as daytime shows like AMC and YR.

So if you guessed that the future star of soaps seen in the image of above was Melissa Claire Egan, then you were absolutely correct.
