They say a picture is worth a thousand words, but we wonder what good is a picture when you can’t recognize the subject? Above is a snapshot of a future star of soaps, but can you guess who this adorable little vision in white grew up to be?

Star Of The Soaps

Obviously this young woman (now all grown up) is either currently starring in, or is an alum of, one of the four remaining daytime dramas – The Bold and the Beautiful, Days of our Lives, General Hospital, and The Young and the Restless – but that’s probably not enough of a hint.

So try these on for size. She is a native of Dallas, Texas. Her first film credit was a 2009 drama picture. Her first soap role saw her portray the “young” version of another character. She is a Daytime Emmy Award winner. She is in a romantic relationship with a fellow actor.

But just who can she be? Is this a photograph of Katrina Bowden (Flo Fulton, BB), Alison Sweeney (Sami Brady, DAYS), Chloe Lanier (ex-Nelle Benson, GH), or Melissa Ordway (Abby Newman, YR)?

Katrina Bowden

Bowden’s first soap role was Brittany Jennings on One Life to Live and her feature film debut came about thanks to the raunchy comedy Sex Drive. So she’s clearly not today’s featured star.

Alison Sweeney

Long before she debuted as legacy character Samantha Jean Brady – the offspring of supercouple Roman and Marlena Brady – Sweeney first appeared on DAYS as “Young Adrienne Johnson,” a role held by actress Judi Evans.

But despite winning a special Daytime Emmy Award (America’s Favorite Villain), Sweeney isn’t the answer to today’s identity query. She was born and raised in Los Angeles, California and her feature film debut was in 1990 – The End of Innocence.

Melissa Ordway

Though she is indeed married to a fellow thespian – whom she met on the set of the horror picture Escapee – Ordway was a Georgia girl and her first film credit was 2006’s Friendly Fire.

Chloe Lanier

Lanier grew up in the Lone Star State and she made both her acting and film debut in 2009’s The Effect of Tragedy. She garnered critical acclaim for her work on GH as “Young Patricia Spencer,” which eventually led to her casting in the part of Nelle – a character which netted Lanier the 2018 Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Younger Actress.

So, if you guessed that the future star of soaps seen in the image above was Chloe Lanier – who has been romantically linked to actor Kevin McClellan since 2014 – then you were absolutely correct!
