Find out if any of your favorite actors and actresses from yesteryear are returning to the shows you watch, if any newcomers have been cast in contract, recurring, or day-player roles, or if any popular performers are about to make their exit.
The Bold and the Beautiful
The Forrester family is multiplying on The Bold and the Beautiful. Ashleigh Brewer returns as Ivy Forrester, Eric’s (John McCook) niece. Brewer originally played Ivy from 2014 to 2018 and briefly returned to the show for three appearances earlier this year. The actress has also starred on the Australian soaps Neighbours and Home and Away.
Laneya Grace has been cast as Electra Forrester, Ivy’s niece and Eric’s grandniece. The daytime newcomer appeared in the film 72 Hours and was featured in the music video Wake Me Up by Avicii. Both Grace and Brewer will debut in October.
Meanwhile, Ashley Jones resurfaces as Dr. Bridget Forrester this week. Eric and Brooke’s (Katherine Kelly Lang) daughter airs on Friday, September 27.
Jökull Júliusson, the lead singer of Icelandic band Kaleo, appears as himself on Friday, September 27. In addition to performing the hit song “Way Down We Go,” he’ll share scenes with Thorsten Kaye‘s Ridge, Jacqueline MacInnes Wood’s Steffy, and others.
The Young and the Restless
Amy Lewis, a character originally portrayed by Stephanie E. Williams from 1983 to 1988, is set to resurface on The Young and the Restless. Daytime vet Valarie Pettiford will be taking over the role, which is said to be recurring. Pettiford appeared as Dr. Courtney Walker on Another World from 1988 to 1990 and Dr. Sheila Price on One Life to Live from 1990 to 1994. She’ll premiere on Tuesday, October 29.
Cait Fairbanks is back as Tessa Porter. She’ll share scenes with Camryn Grimes’ Mariah, Joshua Morrow’s Nicholas, and Michael Graziadei’s Daniel on Tuesday, September 24.
Poor Sharon (Sharon Case) continues to be haunted by the late Cameron Kirsten. Linden Ashby resumes the role of her tormenter on Thursday, September 24.
General Hospital
Cassandra James gets some airtime as Dr. Terry Randolph on General Hospital. The co-chief-of staff defends a decision she made on Monday, September 23.
Charles Messure pops back in as WSB station chief John Brennan. He interacts with Laura Wright’s Carly on Monday, September 23 and Friday, September 27.
All My Children vet Michael E. Knight (ex-Tad Martin), who returned after a lengthy absence last week, resurfaces as Martin Grey. The lawyer airs on Tuesday, September 24, and on Wednesday, September 25, in scenes with Nancy Lee Grahn’s Alexis and Kristen Vaganos’ Molly, respectively.
Carlo Rota has been portraying Sidwell, the new villain who’s been keeping Lucky (Jonathan Jackson) hostage. The primetime veteran’s impressive list of credits includes La Femme Nikita, Jane the Virgin, 24 and numerous others.
On the legal front, Jeremy Brandt played Reynolds, the attorney for the prosecution in the case against Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn). In addition, Jim Hanna played Judge Otis, the magistrate presiding over the proceedings.
Days of our Lives
Madelyn Kientz is back as Days of our Lives‘ teen troublemaker Sophia Choi. Holly’s (Ashley Puzemis) former bestie and current nemesis airs on Thursday, September 26. She’ll interact with Serena Scott Thomas’ Fiona at The Bistro.
Brian D. Cohen portrays “The Henchman” on Wednesday, September 25 and Thursday, September 26. He’ll share key scenes with Paul Telfer’s Xander Kiriakis.
