The Week of March 31, 2025

Find out if any of your favorite actors and actresses from yesteryear are returning to the shows you watch, if any newcomers have been cast in contract, recurring, or day-player roles, or if any popular performers are about to make their exit.

The Young and the Restless

Fan Favorite Mishael Morgan is returning to Y&R for a new story arc as Amanda Sinclair. She’s already started filming scenes and will begin airing this spring. The character made her last appearance in March of 2024.

Morgan originally joined Y&R in 2013 as Hilary Curtis. However, the character died tragically following injuries she incurred in a car crash in 2018. The next year, the actress returned to the show as Hilary’s twin sister, Amanda. Morgan became the first Black actress to win a Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actress in 2022.

Beth Maitland gets more screen time as Traci Abbott this week, as the mystery surrounding  Alan (Christopher Cousins) continues to unfold. Look for the character to struggle with her suspicions and second-guess her decision making on Friday, April 4.

Tracey Bregman pops in as Lauren Fenmore Baldwin on Thursday, April 3. She shares scenes with Melody Thomas Scott’s Nikki.

General Hospital

It’s a wrap for James Patrick Stuart as GH’s Valentin Cassadine. The actor made his final appearance on Monday, March 24, when his cunning, yet lovable character was hauled off to prison in Geneva. Stuart debuted on the soap in 2016.

While Rena Sofer’s Lois Cerullo was shipped out of town too, it’s only temporary. The actress will be back and play a big part in the story about the child Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) gave up for adoption years ago.

Eva LaRue is back as Natalia Ramirez on Thursday, April 3. She’ll share confrontational scenes with her ex, Carlo Rota’s Sidwell.

Braedyn Bruner pops in as Emma Drake. She’ll interact with her onscreen grandmother, Finola Hughes’ Anna on Monday, March 31.

Bryce Durfee gets more screen time as Vaughn this week. The WSB handler will work opposite his trainee, Eden McCoy’s Josslyn.

Days of our Lives

George DelHoyo is back for another run as the diabolical Orpheus on DAYS. The character resurfaced on March 28 as part of the show’s Friday cliffhanger. DelHoyo, who originally portrayed John’s (Drake Hogestyn) mortal enemy from 1986 to 1987 and made his last appearance in 2023, has returned sporadically over the decades to wreak havoc. He’s back for more of the same this time around. He airs again on Monday, March 31, in scenes with Deidre Hall’s Marlena and on Tuesday, April 1.

Two popular actors continue their latest story arc in Salem. Christopher Sean is back on the scene as Paul Narita, the missing John’s (Drake Hogestyn) son, and Colton Little returns as Andrew Donovan, Paul’s significant other. The duo airs on Tuesday, April 1, when Paul comes to Andrew’s aid.

The Bold and the Beautiful

The sporadically seen Scott Clifton resurfaces as Liam Spencer on B&B. He airs on Thursday, April 3 in powerful scenes opposite Don Diamont, who portrays his father, Bill.

Sophia Paras pops back in as Kelly Spencer, Liam, and Steffy’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) daughter. The child actress interacts with her TV stepfather, Tanner Novlan’s Finn, on Friday, April 4.

Beyond the Gates

The role of Dr. Ted Richardson has been recast. Maurice Johnson is out, and Keith D. Robinson is in. Robinson’s credits include the film Dreamgirls. He also recurred on the series A Million Little Things. Look for Robinson to begin airing in May.
