Here is the latest comings and goings casting news from all five daytime dramas: The Bold and the Beautiful, Days of our Lives, General Hospital, The Young and the Restless, and Beyond the Gates.
General Hospital Casting
In a stunning development, Chris McKenna is being written off GH as Jack Brennan. The actor took over the role of the WSB bigwig from Charles Mesure in February 2025 and over the past year has become a front-burner leading man. Word is McKenna will be leaving this fall in explosive fashion. The character’s exit is set to leave a huge void on the canvas.
Paige Herschell gets more airtime as Jacinda Bracken this week. Look for Michael (Rory Gibson) to have an intense conversation with his girlfriend on Monday, August 10.
Michael and Willow’s (Katelyn McMullen) children are back on the Port Charles scene. Viron Weaver returns as Wiley Corinthos and Sienna Goerisch resurfaces as Amelia Corinthos on Monday, August 10.
Finn Carr is back as Rocco Falconeri. He airs on Wednesday, August 12, in scenes with Kayden Brenna Tokarski’s Scout. Also, Kelly Thiebaud’s Britt seeks out her “surrogate son” on Thursday, August 13. Carr shared a special message about a powerful moment he had with Thiebaud a couple of months back.
Other members of the teen scene are part of the action this week, too. Asher Antonyzyn airs as Danny Morgan, while Bluesy Burke appears as Charlotte Cassadine. Look for Danny to ask Charlotte for help on Friday, August 14. Antonyzyn spoke out about how much he appreciates the show’s fans.
Wes Ramsey continues to pop in as Peter August. The late character’s ghost keeps haunting Finola Hughes’ Anna.
The Bold and the Beautiful Casting
Daytime alum Kelly Sullivan has been cast as Darcy Dylan, mother of Sydney Bullock’s Melissa “Miss” Dylan, on B&B. The actress, who previously played Kate Howard/Connie Falconeri on General Hospital (2011-2014) and Sage Warner on Y&R (2014- 2016), began filming last week and will make her debut on August 27. Elsa Esnoult returns as Fanny Greyson. The character delivers upsetting news to Katherine Kelly Lang’s Brooke on Tuesday, August 11. The French singer/actress made her last appearance in June.
Several newcomers have been cast for the show’s latest story in Monaco. (Here’s what Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) hopes to achieve during her business trip.) Mike Powers portrays Louis on Monday, August 10; Melodie Casta plays Simone on Wednesday, August 12; and Sarah Bonrepaux appears as Chloe on Friday, August 14.
Richard Zanca turns up as Finn’s (Tanner Novlan) driver on Tuesday, August 11, while Lassana Lestin appears as Sheila’s (Kimberlin Brown) driver on Tuesday, August 11, and Wednesday, August 12.
Brittany Bardwell airs as a flight attendant on Tuesday, August 11. Floriane Anderson appears as a flight attendant on Thursday, August 13, and Friday, August 14.
Arnaud Jouan plays a waiter on Wednesday, August 12, and Ingrid De Bellis appears as a Monaco fan on Wednesday, August 12.
The Young and the Restless Casting
Jade Harlow debuts in the recurring role of Marie Kirkland on Y&R on Monday, August 10, a mysterious woman who encounters Nick (Joshua Morrow). She also airs on Tuesday, August 11, when Nick finds comfort from his new “friend”. Harlow, who is a three-time Daytime Emmy winner, is a familiar face to soap fans. She previously played Jessica Bennett on Passions and Sheryl Connors on Days of our Lives.
Melissa Ordway is back as Abby Newman Winters. She interacts with Bryton James’ Devon, Sean Dominic’s Nate, and Christel Khalil’s Lily when Devon makes an announcement that surprises his family on Tuesday, August 11.
Roger Howarth resurfaces as Matt Clark. He shares scenes with Melissa Claire Egan’s Chelsea, Mark Grossman’s Adam, Camryn Grimes’ Mariah, and others on Monday, August 10.
On the exit front, Lucas Adams has left the show as Noah Newman, Nick (Joshua Morrow), and Sharon’s (Sharon Case) son. (The actor weighed in about the pressure of joining Y&R’s legacy family.) Adams, who made his debut last November, departed town last week when Noah headed back to Los Angeles. He previously played Tripp Johnson on DAYS.
Leaving with Adams is Tamara Braun, who played Noah’s girlfriend, Sienna Bacall. Braun joined the Y&R cast last October, after a long run as Ava Vitali on DAYS. Sienna accompanied Noah back to LA.
Days of our Lives Casting
John Oliver makes a special guest appearance on DAYS this week. The Late Night Tonight with John Oliver airs in an undisclosed role on Tuesday, August 11, Wednesday, August 12, and Friday, August 14. His character will be involved in a storyline involving Dan Feuerriegel’s EJ. Oliver recently completed a stint on General Hospital as a WSB honcho named Z.
Louis Tomeo is back on the DAYS scene as Aaron Greene, Tate’s (Leo Howard) best friend. The character and Vico Escorcia’s Ari plan a surprise outing for Tate and Holly (Ashley Puzemis) on Wednesday, August 12. Here’s everything you need to know about Tomeo.
Peter Porte continues his latest run as Dimitri Von Leuschner. Leo (Greg Rikaart) makes his ex a shocking offer on Tuesday, August 11. Porte also appears on Thursday, August 13.
Sal Stowers gets more airtime as Lani Price Grant. Her character comforts a distraught Theo (Tyler Joseph Andrews) and pays a visit to Jada (Elia Cantu) on Monday, August 10. She also offers comfort to her TV dad, James Reynolds’ Abe, on Friday, August 14. Stowers opened up about her long road back to the soap.
Lorelei Olivia Mote resurfaces as Rachel Black. The young girl opens up to her dad, Eric Martsolf’s Brady, about the missing Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) on Wednesday, August 12.
Maggie Carney reappears as Rita. The DiMera assistant and her boss, Dan Feuerriegel’s EJ, take drastic action on Friday, August 14.
