This week, Joss was shot, which understandably put Carly on the warpath. On the next General Hospital, Carly clashes with John Oliver’s character, according to spoilers for Monday, July 6. You guessed it. Z is the head of the WSB whom Valentin allegedly met in Geneva, Switzerland. He was also the guy who got off the helicopter, killed one of Cullum’s men, bent over Joss, and told her that he was “here to help.”
Key Takeaways
- Carly confronts Z, while Josslyn gets a surprise.
- Britt pleads with Dante as the fallout from the Wyndemere crisis begins.
- Nina faces fresh heartbreak while Lulu is left stunned.
Carly Vs. Z
Just when Carly (Laura Wright) is reunited with Joss, her daughter goes and plays hero. And as a result, she was shot. Carly will probably unleash her legendary temper until she gets answers for everything that happened. Meanwhile, if Z (John Oliver, who originally announced his wish to guest-star on soaps back in March) is in Port Charles and tells Joss he’s here to help, there’s a good chance Valentin’s mission was successful. He got through to Z in Geneva.
On Monday, Carly and Z clash. She might need more answers about Joss and definitive answers about Valentin (James Patrick Stuart). She is going to want to know where he is, and he better not be rotting away in Steinmauer or some other WSB-sanctioned supermax prison. And most of all, she wants Joss out of the WSB. How will Z react to Carly?
Josslyn’s Okay
Josslyn (Eden McCoy) has been through it for the last few months. Brennan (Chris McKenna) benched her, and she kept digging into places she had no business going. After she confronted Cassius (Ryan Paevey), he overpowered her, and she languished in Wyndemere’s prison apartment for weeks. After multiple escape attempts, it took teaming up with Liesl (Kathleen Gati, GH’s performer of the month for June 2026) to escape that place. Of course, she promptly got shot afterward. However, just when she can finally take a breath and relax, that’s when she gets a surprise. Could it be her former WSB partner?
In Other Port Charles News
There were several layers to this latest crime saga. While Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) and Cassius were apparently killed, Sidwell (Carlo Rota) was arrested. And it seems like the men who have been making Port Charles their personal playground for murders and mysterious weapons have been taken care of…for now. But there’s also the inevitable fallout.
It looks like Britt’s reentry into PC will be difficult. She will have things to answer for. And on Monday, she’ll plead with Dante (Dominic Zamprogna). This could be about potential kidnapping charges. Or it could be about seeing Rocco (Finn Carr) or Cassius (if he’s not permanently gone). Whatever it is, Britt (Kelly Thiebaud) will probably have to give him the hard sell before he approves anything that has to do with her. As for Lulu (Alexa Havins), she is left stunned.
And, finally, Nina (Cynthia Watros) recently saved Brennan’s life. Cullum tried to kill him using carbon monoxide. But she got to Jack in the nick of time. However, if Nina’s feeling gutted, this could involve Willow (Katelyn MacMullen), whose life is always a minute from falling apart. And anytime that happens, Nina usually gets caught up in her daughter’s disasters. What threatens to cause Nina so much pain?
