How Fans REALLY Feel About Eileen Davidson’s Double Duty!

News that Eileen Davidson would, once again, be playing Ashley on The Young and the Restless (YR) along with Kristen (and possibly more) on Days Of Our Lives (DOOL), has thrown fans into a frenzy of worry and speculation.

Almost 5,000 viewers weighed in on how they really feel about the overtime work.

Stick to Your Own Soap!
No poaching, cry 61% of you. You want Davidson to stick to one soap, and that soap better be Y&R.

Ashley has a lot going on these days. There’s Dina (Marla Adams), there’s Jack (Peter Bergman), there’s Abby (Melissa Ordway) and, most importantly, there’s Ravi.

Now is no time for Ashley to be losing focus. She and Ravi (Abhi Sinha) are moving at a glacial enough pace as it is; taking extended breaks won’t help speed things along.

Sharing Is Caring
Davidson has double-dipped before, and 21% of fans are open to having her do it again. Ravi gets Ashley, and Salem gets Kristen.

What do we think she’s up to this time? Does she want John (Drake Hogestyn)? Brady (Eric Martsolf)? Eric (Greg Vaughan)? Or is Kristen back for what she left behind last time… Tate (AKA Christopher).

The Best Days
Sure, she might only be playing Kristen. But what if she’s also Susan? Or that nun? Or their brother?

The Banks triplets take a lot of time to get right, and 12% of the audience doesn’t want that boring singleton, Ashley, stealing time from what could be another tour-de-force, Emmy-nominated performance.

Stay With Me, Baby
Davidson can do whatever she wants, sigh 6% of you, as long as she also sticks around Genoa City. Both DAYS and Y&R are owned by Sony, which is why they can work out all the contract details.

Just make sure Davidson’s John Hancock is on the dotted line to keep her on the CBS show.
