Actress Carrie Fisher, known as Princess Leia in four Stars Wars movies — but also for her role in the 1991 film Soapdish, has reportedly suffered a massive heart attack and is in critical condition.
It seems that TMZ.com has found out that the 60-year-old, legendary daughter of legends Debbie Reynolds and Eddie Fisher, suffered the attack while traveling on a plane bound for Los Angeles from London, where she was on a tour for her latest book, The Princess Diarist.
In their reporting, flight attendants asked for any medical personnel and an EMT from the back of the plane came up to the first class cabin to help. No word on her current condition. The plane was 15 minutes outside of LAX airport.
Star Wars co-stars Mark Hamill and Peter Mayhew tweeted his support.
Soap Hub sends their prayers to her and her family for a speedy recovery. As more is learned, this story will be updated.
