Sure, romantic couplings are important on General Hospital. Not as important as mob business, but pretty darn important! Not that we have seen much in the way of romance lately in Port Charles. But we have seen the rise of some incredible friendships.

GH: Familiar Faces
Laura Collins (Genie Francis) and Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) are awfully cute together, 34% of you gush. They may seem like opposites on the surface, but we suspect Curtis reminds Laura of another rough around the edges on the outside, heart of gold on the inside guy who liked to skate along the finer points of the law. (Luke. We’re talking about Luke Spencer. They were kind of a big deal once.)

A friendship can be more than two people, 29% of you remind, and that’s the group that loves watching the interactions between Cameron Webber (William Lipton), Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy), Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla), and Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez). Heck, you even enjoy the addition of Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl). Sometimes.

Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) may be confused about his feelings regarding Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) but there’s someone he knows completely how he feels about them and that’s Phyllis Caulfield (Joyce Guy). Yup, 23% of the fans totes agree that this friendship is tops in their book.

And the same goes for Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) and Harmony Miller (Inga Cadranel). One’s a lawyer who insists she always does the right thing – even when decades of evidence would suggest otherwise, and the other is a barely reprogrammed cult follower who has done all sorts of criminal things in the name of love. They could be a great team à la Thelma and Louise. Or is that something more than 14% of voters are noticing?
