The Quartermaine’s prodigal daughter returned to General Hospital for a Thanksgiving visit. She yelled at her family members and gave Laura a hug.

Then, things got good when she learned Ned slept with Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) and she decided to make sure Alexis never spills that tea. What fun! Should Tracy (Jane Elliot) stick around Port Charles for the long haul? What over 2,000 fans would like to see happen:
Necessary Things
A winning 72% of you definitely need Tracy to stay just a little bit longer. Port Charles currently lacks a grand dame who tells it like it is – no matter who, what, or how. Sure, Liesl (Kathleen Gati) filled that role for a while. But she’s mellowed. And she’s a Franco (Roger Howarth)-phile.
Tracy is neither of those things. She can lay some hard truths down on son Ned (Wally Kurth) and his Bensonhurst wife… no, not Lois, the other one, Olivia (Lisa LoCicero). She can whip granddaughter Brook Lynn into shape. And she can remind Laura (Genie Francis) that Luke (Anthony Geary) is lame now.
More importantly, she can put the Quartermaine family back on the front burner, where they belong, and take her place as the family matriarch… just like Lila (Anna Lee). We think Edward (John Ingle) would like that…
No Room at the Inn
A smaller 28% of the audience is good with just these drive-by pop-ins. Tracy is great… in small doses. The fact is, she’s such a powerful presence, she has a tendency to take over any scenes she’s in. And we don’t need that. Tracy had her heyday on GH. Remember her trying to kill her dad by withholding his heart medication? Good times!
But her time is done. She needs to step aside and let the next generation take over. Maybe Brook Lynn can follow in her footsteps with Ned! General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
