The knives are out on General Hospital, as various factions battle for control of ELQ. Alliances have been made, even if they’re uneasy bedfellows. Who do you bet takes it all?

General Hospital: Senior Staff

The only ones qualified to run ELQ are Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth), who is Edward Quartermaine’s grandson – and namesake, and Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart), who is ruthless enough to make sure the stockholders get the most bang for their buck.

Ned and Valentin have experience, and while both inherited their wealth, they at least have done something to keep it. Which is why, if this was an ELQ board meeting, these two would get 46% of the votes.

GH: The Next Generation

According to Mark Zuckerberg, “Young people are just smarter.” And according to Barney Stinson, “Newer is always better.” Which is why 43% of the audience wants to see Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) in the big chairs. Like Ned, Drew is Edward’s grandson. And Michael is his great-grandson.

Sure, Michael rejected his biological family for years and only comes back to them whenever he needs something. But Monica Quartermaine (Leslie Charleson) is so desperate for any family, she’ll take what she can get. Monica raised Drew’s twin brother, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) as her own son, and, after decades of rejection, she was ecstatic to take whatever crumbs Drew was willing to give. The stockholders should feel the same.

General Hospital: I Love Lucy

And then there’s the dark horse candidate, Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring), and 11% of fans think it would shake things up if she were new player in town. Lucy has Valentin’s lack of morals and ethics, Ned’s sense of whimsy, and she was even married to Alan Quartermiane (Stuart Damon) at one point, which means she spent more time with the family than either Michael or Drew ever did!
