Wild Speculation: What if Henrik Is Actually Anna and Robert’s Child?

General Hospital viewers have been crying foul, since the soap’s scribes rewrote history and penned Peter August, aka Henrik, as the surprise son of Anna and her arch nemesis Faison.

Or so it seems… The thought of Anna (Finola Hughes) sharing a bed, let alone a child, with the despicable Faison (Anders Hove) is more than some fans can bear. But what if the soap’s end game in this convoluted tale involves a more palpable twist? Say that Peter/Henrik (Wes Ramsey) is actually Anna and Robert’s (Tristan Rogers) son.

A True Love Child
Anna and Robert’s complicated past has skewed in different directions over the years, so what’s one more? The pair initially split, when Robert learned his wife was a double agent and quickly divorced her, not knowing Anna was pregnant with Robin.

What if after Robin was born, Anna and Robert unexpectedly crossed paths, and gave in to passion just one time?

It could have happened around the same time Anna shared a night with Faison, while working undercover to bring him down.

When Anna turned up pregnant again, she could have been manipulated and led to believe Faison was her baby’s father. Hence, she gave the infant up for adoption totally unaware that he, like Robin, was really Robert’s child.

Scorpio Rising
If Peter/Henrik were to be revealed as Anna and Robert’s biological son, think of the repercussions. Anna would be thrilled to learn she never bore a madman’s child.

Robert would have a son to carry on the Scorpio name, and Robin would suddenly have a brother. Peter, of course, would be the greatest beneficiary of the news, no longer having to be ashamed of his paternity, but rather proud of it.

Man About Town
Another perk of this scenario is that it would greatly up Peter’s standing and desirability as an eligible Port Charles bachelor.

A handsome man who’s the son of Anna and Robert has a much better chance of attracting a woman than the spawn of a diabolical madman. He could catch Kiki’s eye or, in time, the newly-widowed Maxie.
