My Two Dads: Should Eli Man Up And Claim His Baby On Days of Our Lives?

It was the night on Days of Our Lives (DOOL) that changed everything for Eli, Gabi, Lani, and JJ – and now Eli has a big decision to make.

It started when JJ (Casey Moss) was ready to end it all — devastated that he shot his Lani’s (Sal Stowers) younger brother Theo (Kyler Pettis). If it hadn’t been for his ex, Gabi (Camila Banus), he might have killed himself that fateful night. Instead, Gabi stayed the night. And then Lani saw them together and misunderstood what was going on.

Devastated because she was in love with JJ and wanted to patch things up, Lani ran into Gabi’s new love, Eli (Lamon Archey), and spilled everything. The two started drinking and one thing led to another and now Lani is pregnant – and the baby belongs to Eli.

But Lani is engaged to JJ, who thinks the baby is his, while Eli is spending every waking moment trying to clear Gabi of a murder charge. He swore to stay quiet so both couples could stay together but should he? Soap Hub asked and your answer was crystal clear.

Father Knows Best
After over 9,000 votes were tallied, a whopping 86% encourage Eli to step forward and claim his child.

You apparently don’t care that doing so could cause JJ to backslide and be in serious trouble, as he learns he isn’t going to be a father after all.

Then again, perhaps you chose this because you prefer Lani with Eli and JJ with Gabi. Both couples have their own strong following and it wouldn’t be shocking that fans want these couples together–and the fastest way to blow up the current ones would be for the truth to come out.

Step Aside
Still 14% believe Eli should continue to keep his mouth shut. You are so happy for JJ and don’t want to see his poor heart shattered once again.

He will be a great father and Eli won’t have to worry that his child will be loved. It will leave him free to be there for Gabi and that’s the way you want it.
