Liesl Obrecht has come a long way from the dead-eyed hitwoman we first met on General Hospital, to the pathetic mess in love with a supervillain who will never give her the time of day.
General Hospital Love Interest
Sure, they had two children, but Cesar Faison (Anders Hove) still didn’t care about her compared to his precious Anna Devane (Finola Hughes). Now, Liesl is almost a respectable doctor worthy of that most important soap opera staple – a love interest. Who would be the perfect fella for her? What over 4,000 fans told us:
Landslide
It wasn’t even close as 96% of the audience voted for Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner). They’re adorable together. Liesl (Kathleen Gati) is acting like a schoolgirl with her first crush – or, at least, the first time she’s ever had a crush on a semi-decent human being.
And Scott…Scott got screwed over real good back in the late 1970s when the girl he’d rescued from a murder conviction ran off with her rapist. And he hasn’t had much luck since. Scott deserves someone who thinks he’s the most wonderful man ever. And, for Liesl, he obviously is.

General Hospital Bad News
Liesl and Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) had a thing many years ago. He even wondered if he might have been Nathan’s father. But she was always obsessed with Faison, and now she’s too reformed to become entangled in his shenanigans. That’s why only 3% of you gave a thumbs up to this union. Liesl has moved on from the bad boys.
Don’t Go There
And even smaller less than 1% thought Liesl and Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) should give romance a try. Reason Number One Why It’s a Bad Idea: She kidnapped his daughter, held her hostage, and let her parents believe she was dead.
Reason Number Two It’s a Bad Idea: The reason Faison never gave Liesl the time of day is that he was obsessed with Anna. Anna is Robert’s ex-wife. This is way too icky.
