The Webber Sisters: This Story Needs Jeff

A General Hospital casting call for a man in his late 50s or early 50s has the soap world speculating that the show is bringing back Jeff Webber.

After all, the character is now center stage once again after learning he had an affair with Naomi Dreyfus (Robin Riker), producing Rachel, aka Hayden (Rebecca Budig).

Soap Hub asked if you want to see Jeff back in Port Charles, or if this story will be better told without his presence.

Let Him Crawl Out Of The Woodwork
Out of more than 3,000 votes, 87% of you want to see the drama Jeff can add to the mix. Longtime viewers remember him well and would love to see him with Heather (Robin Mattson) again, as well as with two daughters. Liz (Rebecca Herbst) has never had parents on the show, and she’s been in Port Charles since her teen years. It’s as if Liz has been abandoned and having her father around could open up tons of story possibilities.

A much smaller 5% don’t think Liz needs Jeff in her life at this point. Many of you don’t remember the character at all and would rather focus on the characters already on the canvas. You’re not sure what Jeff can add at this point.
 
Maybe, Maybe Not…
The final 8% remain on the fence. While it would be great to see Jeff, you’d rather see Richard Dean Anderson in the role he created all those years ago. With a casting call out, you can be pretty sure if Jeff does return, he won’t look anything like he once did.
