This General Hospital Character Should Return From the Dead

Dead is never really truly most sincerely dead on General Hospital — or any soap opera. Last year alone, five people came back from the great beyond — Sonny Corinthos, Marshall Ashford, Victor Cassadine, Drew Cain, and Peter August.

Which is why the question of whom you’d like to see back in Port Charles is such a natural one. What almost 2,000 viewers told us about that:

GH: Son and Heir

There is a big hole in the Corinthos family where Morgan Corinthos used to be — especially if he’s the true biological father of his little “sister,” Avery Corinthos (Ava and Grace Scarola). Plus, Michael Corinthos Quartermaine (Chad Duell) needs a bit of competition in the heir apparent department before he becomes even more insufferable.

And now that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) are on the rocks, the return of their only biological son together (the other one is a girl, blech) will be just the thing to remind them that they belong together, 42% of you assert.

General Hospital: Disbelief

Luke Spencer (Anthony Geary) isn’t dead, 32% of the audience shrugs. Not now, and not like this. We know he and Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) are planning something, so let’s get on with it. Bring back Luke and let the adventures begin!

GH: The Other Father

For a guy who was only on the canvas for a few years, Julian Jerome (William DeVry) certainly left a lot of kids behind when he departed. There’s Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco), Lucas Jones, and little Leo.

And then there’s Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn). Now that she’s been to jail, she has even more in common with her bad boy ex. And 24% of fans would love to see their unfinished business get…finished.

General Hospital: Last Place

Only 2% voted for AJ Quartermaine. Sure, he’s Monica Quartermaine’s (Leslie Charleson) son, and Michael’s biological father, but all of the previous times he’s been around, he only seemed to get in the way. But watching him stake his claim on Michael could shake up a lot of lives.
