While Jason Morgan was buried under the rubble of a Greek tunnel and Damian Spinelli is forever behind a computer screen, their portrayers, Steve Burton and Bradford Anderson are having a blast reconnecting with General Hospital fans while on their Stone Cold and the Jackal comedy tour — an incredibly fun time for any fan of the soap.
Steve Burton and Bradford Anderson — Tons of Fun
Obviously, COVID-19 is on lots of people’s minds as returning to live comedy isn’t an easy thing, but Anderson is very aware that some may be nervous about precautions, and he spoke with Soap Hub about what fans can expect.
“In this unique time, we do our very best to keep everyone safe,” he revealed. “We encourage everyone to check with each club for their health requirements so they can feel comfortable in the room. Returning to live events is so important, and the joy we’ve experienced reconnecting with everyone has been truly incredible.”
That’s for sure! Soap Hub checked out the duo’s appearance in Tampa, and it was electrifying — the fans went wild when each actor made his appearance on the comedy club stage. It was obvious that people want to connect with their faves, and they’ve missed it. Anderson concurs. “We are so excited to be back on the road, in a room full of GH fans ready to have a good time!”
They have added a slew of new dates, so if they’re coming to a town near you, here’s what you can expect. “I know people are probably wondering what the heck we do for 90 minutes at a comedy club,” Anderson acknowledged. “Do we really do comedy?? YES! We sing parody songs, tell jokes, as well as stories from GH and our lives…it truly is a show.”
Oh yes, expect to hear a lot about current stories, past stories, fun times — and some of them put are even put to song! The two play incredibly well on stage together, and the fans are obviously having a blast — as are Burton and Anderson. “We appreciate everyone’s patience as we’ve dealt with postponements over the last couple years, and we can’t be more enthusiastic about getting back to doing what we love,” shared Bradford Anderson.
The guys also recorded a message just for Soap Hub fans — they want you to know how much they appreciate your support and coming to see them — watch it down below. The past two years haven’t been easy for anyone, but if they can add some joy, they’re more than happy to do it. To find out if and when they’ll be in your town, click here.
