Maybe Gio’s New York trip with Emma will inspire him to pick up the violin again.
Lulu is Curious
Meanwhile, back in Port Charles, Lulu (Alexa Havins) has been beyond worried about Rocco (Finn Carr). She has had to rein in her overprotective tendencies. But on Friday, there’s something Lulu needs to know, and it doesn’t necessarily have to do wth her son. “Why are you suddenly protecting him?” She asks someone curiously. Who is she talking to?
Ezra Questions Laura’s Motivations
Lulu’s question could involve her mother. Laura (Genie Francis) is also at the Metro Court Hotel restaurant, sitting across from Councilman Ezra Boyle (Daniel Cosgrove). The two have become one of Port Charles’s most entertaining duos. Ezra has his own question for Port Charles’s mayor. “You have the advantage. Why are you not using it?”
Ezra’s going to have to understand at some point that two of them are in a similar predicament. They are under Sidwell’s thumb, and if they can help each other get out of it, that’s what they’re going to. Laura won’t use the video of him drunk at the Brown Dog to hurt him. Unless circumstances change, of course.
Cassius and Britt Talk About Rocco
Cassius (Ryan Paevey) and Britt (Kelly Thiebaud) have a heated conversation. “Feeling guilty is going to be the least of his problems,” Fake Nathan tells his sister. This chat was inevitable. As soon as Rocco confessed he shot Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) to Britt, she went into damage control mode.
Cassius was there that night, and she undoubtedly wants to make sure that nothing bad happens to Rocco. The weekly teasers reveal that Cassius is offended, so perhaps he is appalled that Britt would think he would let anything bad happen to the son of the woman he’s dating.
Valentin is Frustrated with Joss
The video preview ends with a confrontation between Joss (Eden McCoy) and Valentin (James Patrick Stuart). And he’s holding up what has to be Cesar Faison’s book that has been Joss’s favorite topic of conversation ever since she found it. Lately, she has been pushing people to talk about it, and must do the same with Valentin. To which he frustratingly responds, “There is a connection, but I’m not seeing it!”
Valentin’s a smart guy, and Joss is determined to get to the bottom of this mystery. Maybe together, the fugitive and the newbie WSB agent come up with the connection.
