Coming up in Port Charles

After learning that her former stepfather tried to recruit Hudson (Troy Lennon Appel) to undermine her plans for JJE, Josslyn (Eden McCoy) is understandably furious. “The man tried to co-opt you and you didn’t think telling me mattered?” she demands. Hudson may have turned down Sonny’s lucrative offer, but apparently, nobody explained that keeping a secret from Joss is a considerably more dangerous occupation than accepting a bribe from a mob boss.

Meanwhile, with Jack’s body finally recovered and the evidence against her mounting, Molly (Kirsten Vaganos) and Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) have some serious questions for someone. Molly warns, “This makes things look a whole lot worse for you.” If she’s talking to Carly (Laura Wright), Carly might want to consider that telling the police they’re investigating the wrong person works better when they haven’t already caught you lying about a dead man’s jewelry.

Elsewhere, Lulu (Alexa Havins) tells someone, “You are the key to making that happen.” Liz (Rebecca Herbst) may be the person she’s recruiting, which could put the head nurse in another uncomfortable position. Then again, Lulu has never been particularly enthusiastic about allowing other people’s reservations to interfere with her plans.

Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) has learned that Danny (Asher Antonyzyn) and Charlotte found Brennan’s body and helped conceal the discovery, and she’s understandably less than delighted. When Danny tries to apologize, Alexis responds, “I’m afraid I can’t accept your apology.” That’s considerably worse than being grounded, especially when the woman delivering the lecture knows precisely how many criminal charges could be lurking beneath that shallow grave.

Meanwhile, Serena (Kelly Kruger) claims she can provide Carly with an alibi for the night Jack died, but there’s a rather expensive catchL: She wants creative control of Deception, and Jason (Steve Burton) isn’t exactly jumping at the opportunity to trade corporate authority for a potentially convenient witness. “How could you possibly refuse this?” she asks. Doesn’t she know that an alibi that comes with a corporate ransom demand doesn’t exactly scream credibility.

Finally, after being strong-armed into examining Nina at a WSB holding facility, Tristan (Dean Geyer) has reason to wonder just how much Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) knows about the agency’s activities. “What do you know that the WSB doesn’t?” he asks. Considering the WSB’s recent performance, that might be a rather low bar to clear. Still, Willow had better choose her answer carefully.
