Amid all the drama, destruction, and danger in Port Charles, Friday’s episode will also feature pure moments of joy. The General Hospital spoilers reveal that on April 24, Gio and Emma continue their New York trip and get to be part of a magical crossover when they go backstage at a Broadway performance of Aladdin.
Key Takeaways
- Gio and Emma’s NYC trip turns magical with a backstage visit to Broadway’s Aladdin.
- Dark drama unfolds as Felicia receives troubling news and Britt seeks reassurance.
- Valentin makes a bold move, while Cassius is offended.
It’s A Whole New World…for Emma
Gio (Giovanni Mazza) and Emma are in New York City for a fun trip that should also be enlightening for Emma. Not only will she get to see the city through Gio’s eyes. She will also get to see Aladdin through his eyes, too.
Gio recently dropped a bombshell on her when he told her that he had briefly played the violin in the orchestra for a few performances of the Broadway staple. She was impressed, especially since Gio’s friends with the actor who plays Genie. And now the two will get the chance to go backstage of the hit Broadway musical.
Braedyn Bruner, who plays Emma, appreciated being a part of this magical crossover. “We just don’t go on location a lot at all,” she told TV Insider. “I know GH used to go a lot, but it’s just a rare, rare thing. So that felt really special.”
Michael James Scott, who plays the Genie in Aladdin, has never been on a soap before. So this experience was new and exciting for him. “General Hospital is such an iconic show,” he said to TV Insider. “It was such a cool opportunity, so for me, it was like, ‘Oh, this is a no-brainer. Sign me up.'”
Dark and Disturbing Drama
While Emma and Gio have fun in New York, upstate is decidedly more dramatic. The weekly teasers suggest that Felicia (Kristina Wagner) gets disturbing news. The keyword here is disturbing. Could this be about Anna (Finola Hughes), who is wrestling with her demons in a psychiatric facility in France? Or is it something closer to home?
Meanwhile, Britt (Kelly Thiebaud) wants reassurance, which makes sense since she just learned that Rocco (Finn Carr) was the one who shot Cullum (Andrew Hawkes). He revealed everything he saw that night to her, including the fact that Nathan/Cassius (Ryan Paevey) knows what Rocco did.
So this could be about Britt wanting reassurance from her brother that nothing will happen to Rocco. And that word of his being the one who shot Cullum will never reach the WSB director. As for Cassius, he is offended on Friday, and that could very well happen during a conversation with Britt.
Valentin Issues a Warning
Finally, Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) is making moves. He has spoken with Nina (Cynthia Watros) about using her to reach Brennan (Chris McKenna, who teases what’s coming up for Jack). And he has told Carly (Laura Wright) that bringing down Jack is still on the table, despite her reservations. His next action is to issue a warning. Who is on the business end of this warning?
It could have something to do with Jack or even Joss (Eden McCoy). But maybe he catches up with Curtis (Donnell Turner) and lets the man know he needs to continue to keep the secret that he helped him save Jordan (Tanisha Harper) the night of the accident. And that he needs to forget he ever saw him.
