The next General Hospital spoilers video for Thursday, January 9, 2025, shows Carly hoping for some good news while Curtis lets Drew have it.

Coming up in Port Charles

In the aftermath of the explosion at Sonny’s penthouse, everyone is worried about Michael (Chad Duell), who’s currently facing death. There, Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) tells Kristina (Kate Mansi), “The only person who doesn’t know that is you.” Maybe she’s telling her daughter that she’s stronger than she thinks and will get through this crisis.

Meanwhile, Martin (Michael E. Knight) tells Nina (Cynthia Watros), “We’ve got more leverage than you might think.” Odds are that he’s taking advantage of Michael being incapacitated by the fire to help Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) get custody of her and Michael’s kids.

A grieving Carly (Laura Wright) is at the hospital. She presumably says to one of the doctors, “Please tell me you have some good news.”

Meanwhile, Willow walks up to Josslyn (Eden McCoy) in the hospital and asks how Michael is doing. Joss’ response, as expected, is, “Like you give a damn!” Yeah, Willow has a lot of groveling and apologizing ahead of her.

Elsewhere in the hospital, Curtis (Donnell Turner) tells Drew (Cameron Mathison), “If you wanna do something for Michael, leave.” With Michael in critical condition, there’s nothing to stop Curtis from printing that Drew and Willow had an affair all over the Invader, which hopefully sends icky Drew’s political career into a tailspin.

Finally, Jason (Steve Burton) tells Sonny (Maurice Benard), “You talked about an exit strategy. That just became more important.” Sonny’s not one to run and hide after being attacked. And it’s doubtful he’ll be able to get out of the mob in any easy fashion. Even if that’s his plan, he’s going to want whoever blew up Michael to pay first.
