On the Wednesday, January 31 episode of General Hospital, spoilers focus on confrontations, reservations, apprehension, and precarious situations.
Spencer (Nicholas Alexander Chavez, whose last airdate is coming up) and Trina (Tabyana Ali) didn’t think they had anything to worry about. They flew to Paris and enjoyed a romantic dinner. Their minds were at ease thinking evil Esme (Avery Kristen Pohl) was on the run in Toronto.
Of course, Toronto was just a decoy for detectives Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) and Chase (Josh Swickard). Dark!Esme is already in Paris and hot on Spencer and Trina’s heels now that they’ve moved on to the next part of their date. Logic dictates what happens next. Unfortunately, the couple finds themselves in a precarious situation. Will they be able to save themselves from the terror that is Esme?
Sonny (Maurice Benard) and Ava (Maura West) have packed up and headed to his island, for their safety. But, also, so he can easily distance himself from Nina (Cynthia Watros), right? Well, there will be no peace and tranquility during this stay. Things are about to get intense, especially for Ava who becomes frightened. It’s not every day the formidable art gallery owner gets scared. What’s the source of her fear?
Back in Port Charles, Carly (Laura Wright) is starting the new era of Crimson after Dark!Drew (Cameron Mathison) gave Nina the boot from the magazine she made a success. The first step for Carly now that she’s committing to this new role 100 percent…reassure her new staff. After all, she has to make sure they know the bottom isn’t going to fall out from under them. And that they still have their jobs.
Besties Lois (Rena Sofer) and Olivia (Lisa LoCicero) are in a precarious position of their own. Their friendship took a major hit after Lois spilled the beans to Sonny on Nina’s whistleblowing ways. Ever since, Olivia has been furious with Lois for upsetting the peace. So what happens when Lois confronts Olivia? Will the two be able to put this conflict behind them?
Finally, Tracy (Jane Elliot) has reservations. Yes, this is not a normal feeling for her to have. The big question is what’s causing this abnormal reaction. Does it have to do with when she cornered Muldoon’s widow at Finn’s (Michael Easton) trial? Does it have to do with her family? Or the whole hot mess situation with Scott (Kin Shriner) and Lucy (Lynn Herring)?
