General Hospital ‘Sprina’ fans are going to have to get used to Spencer without Trina for a while as Nicholas Alexander Chavez exits the soap next week.
A New World For Nicholas Alexander Chavez
After delays due to both the actors’ and writers’ strikes in Hollywood last year, Chavez is finally filming Season 2 of Monster for Netflix. This season is titled Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story based on the twin brothers who killed their parents in 1989. Javier Bardem and Chloe Sevigny play the parents.
News of Chavez being cast in the role broke last spring with fans expecting the actor and Spencer to exit the GH canvas sooner. Shooting began back in December, with TV Line now reporting that the actor and character will last appear on the soap on January 31.

What Will Happen To Spencer?
On Chavez’s last airdate, Spencer and Trina are set to find themselves in a dangerous situation. They just arrived in Paris and after a night of romance, things take a turn. We know that Esme (Avery Kristen Pohl) is out there on a tear ready to enact revenge on Spener and Trina due to perceived wrongs, so does she find them and hurt Spencer in some way? Perhaps she kidnaps him and they both disappear.
TV Line also reports that Tabyana Ali will not be leaving the soap, so Trina will be solo for a while. Chavez is expected to return as Spencer in a few months when Monster completes filming.
