GH Spoilers Wild Speculation: Cyrus Renault Kidnaps Baby Liam Corbin

Baby Liam Corbin’s diagnosis is devastating and the GH spoilers hint this Christmas will be anything but a happy holiday for his devastated parents. It doesn’t seem right to kill off a kiddo this time of year, does it? We’re hoping it’s because the little boy isn’t actually dead at all. Well, at least not the real Liam, anyway.

What do we mean, you ask. We predict a massive storyline is coming that will shed a very different light on Liam’s death. Specifically that he doesn’t die but is instead swapped out for an ailing orphan while the actual baby is swept away by a devious doc under the orders of Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober).

GH: A Shocking Baby Swap

Now, why would he do something so terrible? Revenge, my dear soap fans. Revenge. This is payback for all those times Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) turned him down, her going after him and his budding drug business, and for Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) turning his back on him.

What better way to make these two pay than to take their baby? It wouldn’t even be a hard scheme to accomplish. Cyrus was head of the hospital and knows everyone’s secrets. All it takes is one bad blip for a fine doctor and BOOM! Cyrus blackmails them. Help me steal this baby or you’re going down!

If this seems a tad familiar to daytime fans, it wasn’t too long ago that Victor Kiriakis and Xander Cook pulled off a much similar scheme on Days of our Lives with baby Mickey.

The good news is, the baby lives. The bad news is, his parents will have no idea. They’ll go through a funeral, grieving, and a gut-wrenching holiday not knowing their tiny tot is out there in the arms of a misfit of the medical staff.

General Hospital: An Unlikely Hero

If this is true, we can only hope Sasha and Brando get their baby back sooner rather than later. The boy needs his mother and she needs her son. No secret stays that way forever so it’s only a matter of time before a clue drops that leads them to Liam.

And, who would find that clue? We’re hoping it falls in Gladys Corbin’s (Bonnie Burroughs) lap. Just imagine that epic road to redemption!
