The Hook terrorizing the city is turning lives upside down — no one more so than Sasha Gilmore Corbin (Sofia Mattsson). She and Brando Corbin’s (Johnny Wactor) loved ones gather to say their final goodbyes, and the grieving wife is a mess. Sasha finds comfort in her friends, but how much more can one woman take?
Unfortunately, the tears don’t stop there. Over at the waterfront, another body is found. Just wait until you find out who the unfortunate soul is taken away in a body bag. Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) warns his little brother Michael Corinthos Quartermaine (Chad Duell) that they have a serial killer on their hands, and once it’s out there, word spreads fast. Everyone in town best be on high alert because someone is out there to get them. Be afraid, folks. Be very, very afraid. See it all for yourself in the sneak peek video below.
GH made its debut in 1963 and was created by the husband and wife team of Frank and Doris Hursley, taking place at a hospital but in an unnamed city. In fact, the setting wasn’t named as Port Charles until the 1970s. General Hospital is the longest-running soap opera currently on air.
From legendary Laura’s (Genie Francis) four decades on and off and back on as the show’s leading heroine, to Anna Devane’s (Finola Hughes) super-spy exploits, to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and his mobster activities, GH certainly knows how to please their viewers.
More than five decades of gripping drama as well as love in the afternoon have kept this ABC daytime soap on the air and winning Daytime Emmys. Epic romances, action-adventure stories, and love on the run have enthralled viewers over the years.
