GH Spoilers Speculation: Emma Returns and She’s Not Who She Was

GH spoilers have made it clear that Cameron Webber and Spencer Cassadine are all grown up. So shouldn’t Emma Scorpio-Drake, who used to make up their little pre-teen triad, join in on the fun?

Since we’ve been told that Port Charles University is an institution of higher learning on par with Stanford, which Cam Webber (William Lipton) turned down in order to hang out with his girlfriend, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy), it should also be worthy of Emma (Brooklyn Rae Silzer) attending. After all, she lives in Berkley, CA, with her parents, Robin Scorpio (Kimberly McCullough) and Dr. Patrick Drake. And since when is Berkley known for any top colleges?

New Year, New You

When GH viewers last saw Emma, she was an adorable little moppet in pigtails, almost as universally beloved as her mother had been at that age. (Granted, Emma didn’t have the power to summon three grown men whom Robert Scorpio [Tristan Rogers] dubbed her godfathers and made clear that they were responsible for his daughter’s health and happiness while he hightailed it to Australia with Holly Sutton Scorpio [Emma Samms] as her mother did, but that was the previous century.)

But what if instead of returning to Port Charles the spitting image of her mother — Robin never did anything wrong, always knew what was best for other people, and felt free to lecture all and sundry when they failed to live up to her own morally superior example — Emma, instead, took after her grandmother Anna Devane (Finola Hughes)?

No, we don’t need upright and heroic police commissioner Anna Devane. We mean the lying, scheming, fake scar-wearing, treasure stealing, double-agent Anna Devane.

Let’s have Emma be a bad girl that strikes terror into the hearts of not just Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) but Joss, too. Can you just imagine how Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) would react to Robin’s daughter outsmarting her precious angel?
