General Hospitals Spoilers Wild Spec: Olivia Catches Ned With Alexis

When last we left the show, Ned and Alexis were drunk and heading off in a car as Olivia was heading back to see him but General Hospital spoilers are a bit vague about what happens next. Yet the groundwork has been laid, so to speak, for a shock, and here’s what we think might happen next.

First, the stage has been set for Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) and Ned (Wally Kurth) to be at their lowest. For Alexis, she is mourning the loss of the man she thought was her future and is leaning on a significant man from her past to help her through it — along with falling off the wagon.

For his part, Ned is devastated over his relationship with daughter Brook Lynn (Briana Lane) hitting the skids while at the same time learning his wife Olivia (Lisa LoCicero) has been galavanting around the world with suave superspy Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers). So his ego is a little bruised as well. He’s drunk too.

Now he and Alexis have been taking that nostalgic walk down memory lane, are in pain, plagued by doubts about their ability to be loved, and drunk — a recipe for cheating if soaps ever provided one. While COVID-19 has made seeing what happens next difficult to show, it did look like the two have already kissed — and now they’re in the same car.

It’s not a stretch to imagine that Ned and Alexis will end up in bed just as Olivia is prepared to face her husband again. What if she walks in either during or after this tryst — and the devastation and shock send her straight into the waiting arms of Robert? He certainly wouldn’t say no — he’s smitten by her strength anyway.

Chances are that Ned and Alexis would be full of regret once sober but will Olivia feel the same since she doesn’t have drinking as an excuse? Was she just looking for the slightest (granted, this wasn’t slight) excuse to give in to an attraction for Robert? Either way, would this spell the end for the Quartermaine marriage?
